Meet Deborah

MA Theatre, BA (Hons), PGCE, LUD, LRAM, LLAM, TEFL

I studied theatre at the University of Surrey and Guilford School of Acting and my career has centred on performing and teaching. For many years I have worked as an acting coach and teacher of speech and drama. I have also worked as an examiner, trainer and team leader for LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) both in the UK and overseas.

I have many years of preparing learners for LAMDA examinations with 100% pass rate, the vast majority of which have been distinction awards. Many of my learners have gone on to study at university and acclaimed drama schools such as Central School of Speech and Drama, East 15, Guildhall, LIPA, Mountview and The Royal College of Music.

I have worked with members of the clergy and the corporate sector including Deloitte Touche in Spain and Marina Militare in Italy. As an actor I have had experience in theatre, TV and Film. I still enjoy being involved with the creative industries and I am represented by DE Agency.

My career history has allowed me to help people develop skills in performance, communication, voicework, speech problems and public speaking. Seeing learners of all ages and aptitudes gaining ability, success and confidence continues to give me an enormous feeling of satisfaction.
